I’m just trying this on J1.7 on localhost. I haven’t changed the default settings, but the footer doesn’t show – I’ve tried it in Firefox and Chrome. So you’re not getting credit if I use it on a live site.

thank you for this beautiful template. I’m new to Joomla but not to css & html. I adjusted the size of the slideshow (in the .js file) and changed pictures and what I found was that the pics were in mode ‘indexed colour’ (photoshop). When I changed them in the same settings, they were not visible in google Chrome…in Safari they’re fine.. when I just flatten the layers and save as normal jpg, no problem… then they are visible again in Chrome. Do wonder why this is….

I chose to hide the slideshow and just insert the template into an article using the code (my homepage) because it showed up on every page. Worked quite well, and you can use different slideshows on different pages.

            you get the idea, hopefully.

I cannot seem to get the menu under the logo or any of the menus on the left or the right. In fact, the only menu I get is the “top menu” at the very top right

    I have 2 questions though,

1.- Could you please develop a little more about the links in the Slideshow? I mean where do I put the link in the Template preferences? in the slideshow content fields?

2.- How can you make the Slideshow only show in the Home page and not in the others.

    Many thanks in advance

if so what part of the code would be modified? I’m assuming that you’d open the jquery.aw-showcase.js file and modify the ‘showcase-content-container’. Essentially what I’d like to do is have it show any file I have in the ‘showcase-container’ that has an image extension (i.e. .jpg,.bmp,.png)could you have a look and give me an edit that might work. I’m not a coder but if I’m pointed in the right direction I tend to work things out! Cheers!

I changed it into 6. You have to adjust your templatedetials.xml (just add) and in index.php via temlate manager, also copy and add. If you need more details just sent me an email. It’s not much work.

Do you happen to know how to adjust the script without totally removing it? (that’s what they suggest on the virtuemart forum, but really I chose this template because of the slideshow). Hopefully somebody can help me as I have to go life next week…

    Hello,

Thank you for this beautiful template. It has a fresh and clean look. I do have a couple of questions and hoping you can point me in the right direction.

    1. Link to slides. I saw that you answered this before but I was not able to find the parameters in the template under Template Manager/Edit Style. There are places for slide descriptions, but not links.

    2. When I use the top menu in position-1, the submenu is blocked by the slide show, so only the first 5 items are shown.

    3. When I use the top menu in the menuload positions, it shows the full submenu, but only the first level. I already set the top menu options to show all submenus.

Thanks very much for your help.

Hey, I’m not the admin, but I thought I’d respond. The logo is changed by replacing the logo.png file in the images folder. As for the link, it’s down there. I thought it was missing from my site too until I looked closer. The font color that is used makes it blend in pretty well with the background. Just put your mouse at the very bottom of the page in the middle and you’ll see it. It’s actually below the footer.

I have searched through the replies left here, I have googled it in multiple ways to try and find an answer…? Looking closely at the javascript which is used to create this slideshow it appears that it is a jquery script by Awkward Group and is a Showcase plugin.

I’m building a site for my company and this is the best template I’ve found for our needs. Once I’m finished with the design and copy it over to our company domian, I plan on purchasing the rights from you.

However, I have a slight issue on my home page where the template seems to be broken. It just happened the other day when I changed my first article, but it doesn’t go back to normal when I unpublish the article. I have the same problem as others with the slideshow showing up on all pages so I put one in the article. I even tried uninstalling and reinstalling the template (so I have to redo the changes I had there. Any ideas?

Is this possible? I’ve asked the question in several areas as well as on here and via your contact form yet noone will respond. It’s important and may be a deal breaker for this template. Could you please respond?

Thank you for this nice template. Anyway I noticed that the MODULE_POSITIONS.png does not document the programme positions correctly. At least “topmenu” is not available in the template as “position-1”. What about other positions offered by the template (e.g. top) that are not documented in the image?
